Application:

refractory material forsterite can be applied to sand mould, water based technique, EPC, and fusible pattern technology as foundry sand and coating powder and so on.

Features:

Compared with the traditional quartz sand and chromites sand, refractory material forsterite has the following advantages:

1. Olivine sand has high refractoriness, which can gives a better and smoother surface and casting precision.

2. The coating has good density and ventilation property, the casting will not adhere to sands in the applied range.

3. refractory material forsterite has no free Si02 powder, and no emissions of CO or CO2is produced during the casting, thus putting an end to the damage of anthracosis, it is environmental friendly.

4. Little amount of CaO or Al2O3 is contained in our olivine sand, it will not absorb water or crush easily, so it can be repeatedly used, and cost will be largely reduced.
